February Calendar

First I want to welcome Julie and Jason as Bear Den Leaders in our Pack! WELCOME!!!!! :)
I also want to say thank you and goodbye to Audrey, Jody and Sheryl. We will miss you.

Round Table for Cub Scout Leaders: Thur. Feb 10th at the Stake Center @ 7:00 PM. See you there.

Pack Meeting: Tues. Feb 15th @ 6:30 PM at the Church.
It is the Blue and Gold Banquet for the Cub Scout and his parents. Contact Gayle Broadhead for names of 10 & 11 year old Activity Day Girls who could watch your kids for you. (We have not arranged for this to be a service project. Sorry about that.) This is the one meeting were brothers and sisters don't attend so that all the attention can be on your Cub! The theme is "Happy Birthday, Cub Scouts!" Cub Scouts will be 93 years old this year!

Everyone is holding their Den meetings on Tuesday. Contact your Den Leader for any information if you need it.

Pack 813 Pinewood Derby

This the great track we had for this year.

We had one boy recieve his Arrow of Light.

We had a winner for each den.

January's Calendar

Happy New Year!

We are ready to start holding Cub Scouts again. Contact your Cub's Den Leaders (if they haven't already contacted you) about when and where Den Meeting will be held.

Sat. Jan. 8-Cub Scout Leader Pow Wow for those who have signed up.

Thur. Jan. 13-Round Table. We will be holding a Blue and Gold Banquet. I'm cooking! Come and enjoy the Banquet with us!

Sat. Jan. 15- Date to hand in your Cub's Pinewood Derby Car for Pack Meeting! 4-6 PM in a room at the North East corner of the Church (the door will be open and we will be in one of those rooms). The car needs to be complete and handed in on this date in order to run at the Derby at Pack Meeting.

Tues. Jan 18- Pack Meeting at 7:00 PM at the Church. Bring your whole family to enjoy one of the funnest evenings in our Pack year. Can't wait to see you all there.

December Calendar

Welcome to the last Month of 2010.

Round Table will be this Thursday, Dec. 9, at 7:00PM at the Stake Center

We will not be having Pack Meeting this month, instead we will be holding a Pack Service Project on Thursday, Dec. 16th at 4:00 PM at the Church. We be about one hour. We will bring the boys home after wards.

Remember that Tuesday, January 18 will be our next Pack Meeting and it will be a Pinewood Derby.
I have attached a copy of the letter for the Pinewood Derby in an email I have sent to each of you.

November Pack Meeting

Thanks to all those who attended November's Pack Meeting. We had a really great time. The boys made, hats, boats, trees, and swords, all using news paper. Also, after looking at the Pack Budget, we purchased a Pinewood Derby Car Kit for each boy who will be in the Pack for January's Pack Meeting. If your son doesn't have his yet, contact your son's Den Leader to get his. Sorry no pictures. Can't do what I need to do and take pictures. We awarded 2 Bobcats, 2 Bears and a Webelos. Keep up the Good Work everyone.

November Calendar

This is the calendar for November:

Round Table for Cub Scout Leaders, Thurs, Nov. 11 at 7:00 PM at the Stake Center.

Pack Meeting: Thursday, Nov 18 at 7:00 PM at the Church. If you have some news papers, save them and bring them to pack Meeting. We will recycle them after meeting. See you there.

Just a reminder that January's Pack Meeting (Jan 18, 2011) will be the Pinewood Derby. More details to come. Your finished car needs to be handed in to our Cub Master Devey the Saturday before the Derby. So don't leave making your car until the last minute.

October Pack Meeting

We had a GRRRRREEAAT! Pack Meeting this month! We had 3 rank advancements 1 Bobcat, 1 Wolf and 1 Bear. We had one Cub receive his Religious Knot. We welcomed 3 new Cubs into the Pack and then we had a Lady who's son is in our Pack, teach the Cubs and their brothers and sisters how to do some simple gymnastics. What fun we had!!

Just for your info. I have had a friend who had a blog stalker, do and say unfriendly things about their blog and the little people in their bog. For that reason, I am not putting names to the pictures on this blog, from this point on. I want to protect our Cubs and their families. Those who belong to our pack will know who are in the pictures. Others can just enjoy the pictures without names.
